Bei dieser Buttermaschine aus der Gruppe der Schlagbutterfässer handelt es sich um ein Sturzbutterfass. Diese Buttermaschine diente der heimischen Produktion von Butter. Der aus der Milch gewonnene Rahm wurde durch manuelle Betätigung eines metallenen Zahnradgetriebes über eine seitlich am Fass angebrachte Kurbel mit zwei Rädern geschlagen. Das an der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Fasses angebrachte große Rad diente zum Kippen des Fasses zur Entleerung. Leider ist das Fass, insbesondere der Deckel und das Innenleben, stark beschädigt.
