Dieser Kinderwagen wurde von den Frauen benutzt, wenn sie auf der Obstplantage oder dem Feld arbeiten mussten. Ihre Kinder waren hier sicher aufgehoben. Diesen Feldkinderwagen könnte man als frühe Variante des heute eher aus sportiven Gründen beliebten "Outdoor"-Kinderwagen verstehen.
