Um 1920 fotografierte Else Boroffka-Niemeyer, in der für sie typischen weichen Lichtstimmung, den angehenden und später berühmten Pianisten und Komponisten Wilhelm Kempff. Kempffs Vater kam als königlicher Musikdirektor an die Nikolaikirche in Potsdam.
