Die Städtische Brauerei in Clausthal-Zellerfeld wurde 1978 nach Übernahme durch die Binding Brauerei in Frankfurt am Main geschlossen. Die Marke "Clausthaler" für ein alkoholfreies Bier zeugt auch 2024 noch weltweit für eine besondere Leistung der kleinen Brauerei aus dem Harz.
