Bedeutsam für die Stadt und ihre Bewohner war neben dem großen Veranstaltungssaal – bis zu 360 Personen konnten hier feiern – die Bibliothek. Ein zweiter, kleinerer Saal war für bis zu 80 Personen zugelassen: Hier befand sich die Milchbar.
