Ein farbiger Glasposten mit Durchlässen für spätere Farbapplikationen wurde im Mundblasverfahren vorbereitet, nach Abkühlung bearbeitet und wiedererwärmt. Durch Einarbeitung verschiedener Farbgläser, Überfangen mit Klarglas und Formen des flüssigen Glases am Glasofen wurde das Objekt fertiggestellt.
