Description

Ein Paar Holzschuhe mit Schnitzarbeit, auch Kurkeln genannt, aus dem 19./ 20. Jahrhundert.
Die Verzierung ist ein Rautenmuster auf der Schuhoberseite.

Um die harte Sohle der Schuhe auszupolstern wurden zum Beispiel die weichen Blätter des Frauenmantel (Alchemilla vulgaris) verwendet.
