Help for the extended search

You can combine multiple search parameters.

Some of the available search fields allow direct entering of search terms. Right behind these fields, you can find a small checkbox. If you fill in your search term, the search generally runs for any occurrences of the entered string. By enabling the small checkbox ("Exact"), you can execute a search for that exact term.

There are also option menus. You can select search conditions by clicking on their respective entry in the appearing list there.

The third type of fields that neither have an "exact" checkbox nor consist of a list, reacts to your inputs. Once you type in some text, a list of suggested terms appears for you to select from.

Der junge Mann am Strand von Ahrenshoop ist ein Porträt von Olaf Boroffka und gehört womöglich zu den letzten Aufnahmen, die seine Mutter, Fotografin Else Boroffka-Niemeyer von ihm machen konnte. Der persönliche Wert der Fotografie zeigt sich auch in der handschriftlichen Notiz von Geburts- und Todesdatum ihres in Russland gefallenen Sohnes.
